Census BureauService providers, planners, grant writers, researchers, and advocates often rely on U.S. Census Bureau estimates to paint a picture of their local communities, assess needs, and track trends.  Each year, Connecticut Voices for Children summarizes the latest state and local estimates for poverty, income, and health insurance coverage.  Through data compiled for the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS), you can access a broad range of social, economic, housing, and demographic indicators for Connecticut cities and towns.

On our new website, we’ve compiled a Census data resources page with links to Connecticut Voices’ data summaries, along with links to more additional, detailed, town-level, ACS data on the Census Bureau website.
