Covering CT’s Kids Quarterly Meeting on HUSKY

The next Covering Connecticut's Kids & Families quarterly coalition meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 15th from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm at Central Connecticut State University's Institute of Technology and Business Development Downtown Campus at 185 Main Street in New Britain. To facilitate getting to the ITBD, parking, and locating the meeting room, please download and review the directions.

Registration and coffee will be from 8:30 to 9:00 am, with a meeting from 9 am to 12 noon. These free educational meetings are open to all organizations interested in helping eligible families to enroll in the HUSKY health insurance program.

Tentative agenda items include:

  • Budget for Fiscal Year 2017:  impact on HUSKY and other health programs
  • ImpaCT:  The new DSS eligibility management system rollout
  • Outreach to HUSKY A Parents Slated to Lose Coverage August 1, 2016
  • Panel Discussion with Community Partners:  Opportunities and Challenges Assisting Families with Health Coverage and Access to Health Care

An RSVP by email is preferred.  Simply send an email to Linda Deemy stating  "Yes, I will attend" and make sure that your signature line has your full name, organization name, address, and phone number.  Please respond by June 8th.

Note:  Meeting room temperatures and personal comfort ranges vary widely.  Since meeting rooms tend to be cold, please bring a sweater, wrap, or jacket.
