Mary Alice Lee, PhD has departed Connecticut Voices after a dozen years. We hope you will join us at the Covering Kids and Families Meeting on October 7th when we honor her longstanding contributions to improving health coverage and access to care for children and families in the HUSKY (Medicaid and CHIP) program. If you would like to write a tribute to Mary Alice, please send your remarks to Sharon Langer at slanger@ctvdrupal.asqhost.com. These will be shared at the October 7th meeting.

Tentative agenda items include:

  • Honoring Mary Alice Lee, PhD for her contributions to Covering Connecticut’s Kids & Families
  • National Perspective on Medicaid/CHIP by Judith Solomon, VP for Health Policy, Center on Budget & Policy Priorities
  • Update about rollback in HUSKY parent eligibility (DSS)
  • Next Open Enrollment: What to Expect (Access Health CT)

An RSVP by email is preferred. Simply send an email to Yvette Bonilla stating "Yes, I will attend." Make sure that your signature line has your full name, organization name, address, and phone number. Please respond by September 30th.

Note: Meeting room temperatures and personal comfort ranges vary widely. Since meeting rooms tend to be cold, please bring a sweater, wrap, or jacket.

We envision a Connecticut that creates opportunity for everyone, not just the lucky and privileged few. Together, we can ensure a prosperous future for all of our children.
