Covering CT’s Kids Quarterly Meeting on HUSKY

The next Covering Connecticut's Kids & Families quarterly coalition meeting will be held on Monday, June 19th from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm at the following location:

Central Connecticut State University's
Institute of Technology and Business Development

Downtown Campus
185 Main Street
New Britain, Connecticut

Note: The ITBD is located in downtown New Britain, NOT on the main campus.

Registration and coffee will be from 8:30 to 9:00 am, with a meeting from 9 am to 12 noon. These free educational meetings are open to all organizations interested in helping eligible families to enroll in the HUSKY health insurance program.

Tentative agenda items include:

  • Community Health Worker Initiative
  • The State Budget: An Overview of the (Many) Proposals by the Governor and the Legislature
  • What's (Still) at Stake for Connecticut in Proposed Federal Changes to Medicaid, CHIP and the Affordable Care Act
  • Update on ImpaCT Rollout
  • Update on Access Health CT

An RSVP by email is preferred. Simply send an email to Ellie Carlino stating "Yes, I will attend." Make sure that your signature line has your full name, organization name, address, and phone number. Please respond by June 14th.

Note: Meeting room temperatures and personal comfort ranges vary widely. Since meeting rooms tend to be cold, please bring a sweater, wrap, or jacket.
