This data sheet uses recent data from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey for the state's largest cities. Indicators of family well-being include children below the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), children below 200% of the FPL, total persons below FPL, median family income, family homeownership, and residents with a bachelor's degree or higher.

We envision a Connecticut that creates opportunity for everyone, not just the lucky and privileged few. Together, we can ensure a prosperous future for all of our children.
