About 3% of children and youth in HUSKY A were hospitalized at least once for conditions other than mental health disorders in 2004. The leading reasons for hospitalization were respiratory conditions, injuries, and pregnancy. Timely, high-quality primary care and reproductive health services could help to reduce avoidable hospitalizations.

We envision a Connecticut that creates opportunity for everyone, not just the lucky and privileged few. Together, we can ensure a prosperous future for all of our children.
